Ryley Krauss started dancing at the age of four. She grew up in St. Albert, Alberta, dancing many different styles including, ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, tap, and hip-hop. At the age of thirteen she began her Vaganova-based ballet training at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet (RWB) School, Professional Division. After graduating with a Ballet Academic Program diploma in 2018, Ryley joined the Aspirant Program with RWB, performing in The Nutcracker, La Bayadere, and Romeo and Juliet. A highlight in Ryley’s career was performing in New York City, with Complexions Contemporary Ballet Pre-Professional Program in Kaleidoscope. After the first wave of COVID-19, Ryley moved to Barcelona, Spain to dance with the Ballet de Barcelona Trainee Program. Ryley toured around Catalunya, Spain, expanding her classical and character ballet repertoire. Ryley most recently relocated to Budapest, Hungary in September 2021 to dance with Gangaray Youth Ensemble.
Ryley discovered her love of teaching in Budapest, when she was given the opportunity to lead ballet classes for her peers, sharing her extensive training and experience. Ryley’s professional experience, overcoming injuries, contemporary background, love of dance, and bubbly personality make her an exceptional teacher. She is excited to share all of this with her students.
